A worn pivot boss washer might not sound like a big deal - but when it creates excessive play in the pivot area, it puts real stress on surrounding components and makes the whole setup sloppy. That's exactly what we were dealing with on this triaxle. Too much movement where there shouldn't be any.

The fix wasn't a patch job. We cut out the damaged washer completely and fitted a new one in its place. Getting the fit right matters here. If the replacement isn't seated correctly, you're back to the same problem down the road - or worse, you've made it harder to fix properly next time.

Once the new washer was positioned, we welded it in with a clean, consistent bead around the full perimeter. That weld is what locks everything in place and keeps it there under load. Heavy equipment doesn't leave much room for error, and a sloppy weld on a pivot point is the kind of thing that comes back to bite you.

What you end up with is a pivot area that moves the way it's supposed to - controlled, tight, and without that loose, sloppy feel that tells you something's wrong. It's not glamorous work, but it's exactly the kind of repair that keeps a truck hauling instead of sitting.

This is the type of repair we do regularly on all kinds of heavy equipment. If your equipment has worn pivot points, excessive play, or frame components that need structural welding attention, we have the tools and experience to handle it right.
