Landing gear braces take a beating. They hold a loaded trailer steady every time it gets dropped, and on a 52-footer, that's a serious amount of stress on those aluminum components. When this one came in, the brace had failed and the trailer wasn't going anywhere safely until it was fixed.

Aluminum welding is a different animal compared to steel. It requires tighter heat control, the right filler material, and a welder who actually knows what they're doing with it. Get any of that wrong and the repair won't hold - or worse, it looks fine until it fails on the road.

We made sure the repair was solid all the way through. The aluminum gusset bracket was fully welded back into position against the frame, with clean bead work along the mating surfaces. The goal here wasn't just to patch it - it was to bring this trailer back to the kind of structural integrity it needs to handle real working loads day in and day out.

That's what we do with trailer welding repair. Whether it's a cracked brace, a broken gusset, or something that got hit and bent out of shape, we handle it on-site so the trailer can get back to work without a long trip to a shop. Mobile aluminum welding like this is one of the more specialized things we offer, and it's something we take seriously.

A trailer sitting idle costs money. A trailer with a compromised landing gear brace is a liability. Getting it fixed right - and fast - is always the better move.
